How to Create Your Own Gluten Free Language Cards with Extra Dietary Restrictions

Share the Post:

As you’ve probably noticed, we have gluten free cards in 60 or so languages here.

But our cards only cover gluten. What about if you have extra dietary requirements? What if you’re vegetarian too, or need to avoid dairy, eggs, nightshades, or soy?

I get emails asking me for cards that cover these other intolerances quite often, so here’s what I suggest you do if you need to add extra dietary restriction to our cards:

  1. Grab the text from the English card (or whatever your first language is)
  2. Add the extra restrictions you need, in a word document or whatever
  3. Have it translated here.

Then you’ll have your own, custom made card to keep you safe wherever you travel. Plus, if you’re going to multiple countries, you can have all the languages done at the same time.

And, if you’re feeling generous, you can always send your custom card over to meand I’ll add it to the site for others to use.

So there we go – I hpoe that solves the problem for you, and happy travels!

Wherever you’re going, remember to take a free gluten free restaurant card with you.

I hope that this celiac travel story has helped you. You can help other celiacs travel more safely by telling me about getting gluten free food in your area – remember where you live is a destination too! Send me a report and I’ll let thousands of celiacs know.
